Hi there,

I recently purchased a 2005 Honda Fit with 60k miles and I bought it with the Airbag light on. The owner said it came on out of the blue and that it could be turned off at the dealership.

I ended up viewing that this was kind of common and there were lots of videos on how to reset it and went ahead with the purchase. However I am trying to reset this light with no luck at all. In fact I never saw the light bulb going off at all during the process. Im pretty sure Im doing everything by the book.

Any ideas on what could be causing this behaviour?

Ask the last owner he knew when he sold it to you. You MAY get some satisfaction from a dealer as I'm pretty sure "safety equipment" MAY have extended warranty.

Unless it was in an accident.
