Hello! I need help Identifying a problem with the AC connections. I pulled out the Dash to put in a custom housing for a double din radio. Upon pulling it out for the first time the main control for the AC popped out while still connected to the wires. I was able to find the copper piece that makes the **** get electrical contact to the wires but I am having trouble getting everything to work. Can someone help me out with this or get me to a link that give me more info on putting this part back together? any help would be appreciated. here's pics of what the situation is atm.

Dealership vaguely told me to replace the entire unit. I would really rather avoid that

This doesn't look overly complicated, it looks like the copper plate fits in the white plastic housing. I see three tabs on the copper plate, and slotted holes in the white plastic. Line up the tabs with the slots in the plastic and it should fall into place. I see bumps on the copper plate which touch the contacts on the black plastic portion. It should fit in there one way only. The black plug portion should snap back into the white plastic (again, should be obvious which way).

Just try fitting things together, use your eyes and common sense to see that things "fall into place".

This is, of course assuming that nothing broke along the way, seeing as it looks like you really went full beans when taking this apart.

okay it turns out that I needed a lot of pressure when sticking the pieces back together. I will mostly likely need to replace part 8 of the parts list. and yes I did go full retard on this.
