Hi,
I have a 2007 Fit and two days ago (the last time I drove) happened to be in a lot of heavy rain. I don't know if that has anything to do with this but went to drive it this morning and the emergency brake seems to be stuck. The brake releases and the light is not on but I can't move forward or backward and it has that feeling of the brake is on when I try to move it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you might have a pad stuck on the rotor.
happened to me after the car sat for 40 days.
try giving it some gas and see if it breaks free.

Try in reverse it will release any pads stuck better than going forward.

could be a stuck mechanism or cable, hit it with some pb blaster and do some prying/pushing/pulling/light hammering.
or try prying/tapping on the pads with a flathead screwdiver and hammer.

Thanks everyone, problem solved! I took the tire off and tapped on the drum with a hammer and that unstuck it. YAY!
