Default www.MegaMeet.org's Build Thread

might as well post some pics. I got the crv from Inline Pro, I was trying to buy it as is (the fastest crv in the country, awd, manual, built/sleeved - turbo.....12.9 in the 1/4) but I was a couple weeks to late.

anyway, here are some pics of the car from right before I got it, to now. Some things you just cant see becasue for a few months all I was doing was fixing stuff on it. (redoing the suspention, custom spacers, putting in the right radiator and fans, and missing brackets, tow hooks, front cross bar and bumper support, all the fluids, rear diff ect...) Still adding items and I have plans for a lot more to go. Five new additions will be on the car in the coming weeks, and plenty more from there. On with the pics....

before I got it..

Got the car with a fresh jdm b20 (stock) and then I did some hood dampers, painted valve cover and heat shield, custom made intake from intercooler pipeing, fixed alarm, added in trunk pop, painted some engine components/bars black, ripped out the cruize control put in Piaa bulbs and upgraded all interior and exterior bulbs, and to make them match...

lifted it back up temporaraly after some more suspention mods (new struts and custom rear spacers) to go to the beach, new taillights and bumper reflectors.....

Did some paint, and the tint, all the windows including the whole windshield......
Also did a new radio and all 4 speakers, but those arent pictured.
Before.....

after.....

fixed a cup holder problem for the crv guys....

Got a bra, made a license plate thingy at work bored, got a element rear wiper blade, and my old skunk 2 weighted shift **** again (short shifter to come later ) also did the old home made rear camber kit.

Please excuse these pics, the crv was dirty as hell!

More things to come, just ordered HID's, rear oem cargo trim/floor, touch up paint, gas cap holder, honda black leather steering wheel wrap, and I'm making a front lip tomorrow !

Soon to order (or get), maybe the sport trim bars (all 3), front lower H brace, front upper strut or frame bar, new intake manifold and throttle body, rear upper strut bar, front camber kit, short shifter the new header for the awd crv, and a custom cat back exauset, prob the noir muffler with custom strighter 2 1/4 pipes.....

all the stuff I ordered from h@a was about 106 shipped. The rear trunk liner is now discontinued, so after the stock is gone, it's gone for good. The price on that was discounted to half as well!

the gas cap holder litterally is a little thing that double sided tapes to the inside of the gas door to hold the gas cap, instead of putting it on the roof
as for the short shifter, only 1 person in the world has one, I'm going to be second I hope. Its a modified version of the fit short shifter!

Pics are broken

Would you care to share info on the short shifter? It would be really nice on the H2B

I moved pics, and now moved them back, are they ok now? I'll have to find the short shifter thread and link it.

I found it last night. Seems like it could be done for almost free if you had a lathe. I think that I m going to try to get another shifter and try it.

link it then! I would just get the fit one, and bolt it right on. I dont think it needed the work he put into it, and as a correction, it would be a short throw shifter, not a shorter shifter shaft

I recomend thinking about what you want to do with it first, so if you find one with no motor, it might not matter Def get the manual, it's not worth getting the auto.

I think whenever I do a new install I'll post it in here, but if it's a diy I will also make a new thread. I think I did that here (HT) on my hood dampers as well.

my moms CRV was so much fun it was the exact same as yours, 5 speed and all, i learned how to drive in that car.
when it was passed down to me i swapped on a vtec head, started to think about doing a turbo setup, and then i bought a peugeot, went out of state for a weekend and came back to a hurricane ravaged neighborhood and a flooded CRV.
always wondered if theyd be worth it turbo. anyway, sick ute go turbo again!!!

if I do anything, it might be something more different than that. I have been throwing around a k swap idea, or an s2000 set up...but money is a bitch right now. Looking for a new job so I can actually play again. This $100 here and there into the car is bullshit.
