SRS Light/faulty buckle - HELP!
I have a 2003 Honda Element. My SRS light came on about a week ago, right around inspection time. So I brought it to the dealer to be fixed.
They say the issue is in the drivers' side buckle/latch mechanism. There's a bad sensor. I've seen in a lot of posts that this should be covered by the dealer regardless of the car's age, b/c it is a part of the seatbelt system. Honda says "no" b/c it is technically the sensor.
Any help or experience with this. Not looking forward to paying $345 to fix it...
Thanks!

My dealership fixes them for free like you stated. Try different dealership. We replace faulty buckle switch everyday, charge free to customers.
