Default Shopping for my next Honda: 2005-06 CR-V

After owning but regrettably selling my 2005 Civic, I'm looking for another Honda to serve as my daily driver. I've always really loved the 2002-2006 CR-V and have begun my research about them. Can somebody attest to the these weak points I've put together to serve as my check list when shopping for a 2005 or 2006 facelift model. what am I missing?

1-Valve adjustment check
2-Water pump, check the weep hole and if there is coolant present, could be a sign it's bad
3-A/C system - check for a cracked condenser tank. Check expansion valve first before changing compressor. Right before the compressor fails, signs are: odd noises & blowing warm air. Do NOT use A/C from that point. If the A/C compressor fails, it'll shoot metal shards throughout the system and force you to replace every hose and part.
4-Rear differential fluid flushed and replaced
5-

Lastly, has anybody noticed how well these things hold their value?? In Canada, there are a number of 2005/06 selling for 9K+ CAD. O_o

Thanks guys!

I believe the expansion valve is behind the dash. Not sure How you can "inspect" it without removing the entire dashboard

The valve adjustment isn't as important as in the previous models.

Loved my 06 for just over a yr and a half. Put just under 20,000 miles on it before 2 idiot made me total it. Its been deemed their fault. Might get another but not sure.

When I bought it.

Just over a month ago now.

And when I left it just over a week ago now.
