Rd1 rear wheel bearing help
I've done my fair share of front and rear wheel bearings on civics and accords.
I haven't done a rear bearing on an awd honda yet.
I've got a pretty good idea of what I'm in for.
Brake line needs to be disconnected.
Hub pulled.
Backing plate pulled.
Bolts for the bearing from the front and back etc.
To the guys that have done these I'm just looking for some tips.
Slide hammer the hub from the bearing?
Air hammer the bearing out of the trailing arm?
Puller?
Thanks.

DO IT ON ALL FOURS
Re: Rd1 rear wheel bearing help
A slide hammer or puller will work fine. Just be aware you will need to press the bearing off of the backing plate... and back in all with special tools. You may be able to figure something out with out them but it will be a PITA.
