Icon6 Problem Bleeding CRV (put old Master back in, and it works)

Hey Guys,
New to this site, thought I would give it a shot posting here. I have used many many forums in the past to solve problems. Anyways here's the story.

Make: Honda
Model: 2000 CR-V LX 4WD 5 Speed
Mileage: 125,000

Issue: Started to notice a minor clutch slipping feeling above 2,000 RPM. Felt like I was slipping on ice. The tachometer would climb but the car would not go forward. Possible master/slave leak, possible clutch disc worn

So I decide to start off replacing the Master/Slave cylinder. I have replaced Master/Slave cylinders on at least 5-6 previous Honda's that i've owned and NEVER had any problems doing this job. (preludes, accords, civics, del sols) so this isn't my first time doing this.

I purchased both parts from Napa Auto Parts. I then proceed to install the new parts with no problems at all. Then where the madness happens. I go to bleed the system and it seems like there are bubbles EVERY constantly. As if every time my buddy hit the clutch pedal more air would come out. The pedal would sink the floor like there was nothing behind it.

I'm driving myself insane with this... been working on it for 2 full days now and cannot figure out for the life of me what's wrong. I've even brought the part back and exchanged it for a new one. Again same thing happened the system WOULD NOT BLEED not matter what I did. I even went to the auto parts store and picked up a Vacuum pump and it will constantly pull air out.

So AGAIN i pull the new master cylinder off and put the old one back on. 30 seconds later clutch is bleed normally and I'm able to drive. I take that one back off (thinking i MUST be doing something wrong) put the new master cylinder back in and again the same thing happens. Pump the pedal over an hour and keep refilling reservoir. close the whole system up and pedal still feel like there's NOTHING behind it.

So as of right now I put the old master cylinder back into the car.

ANY thoughts on this would be great.

Thanks,
Jason
