sweet man, any idea how much power your making? AWD or FWD? How'd you route your exhaust if AWD? I routed my 3" on the drivers side.

Re: Post pictures of your first gen CR-V project.
If I recall correctly it is:
Front:
7in x 2.5in 600lb Eibach Spings 0700.250.0550
98-01 DC2 Type-R KYB AGX
97-01 CRV SPC Adjustable Ball joints
Grinded the UCA ends down smooth to avoid getting a control arm stuck, again
Rear:
8in x 2.5in 450lb Stance Springs
94 Eclipse GSX KYB AGX
97-01 CRV SPC EZ Arms
Custom Aluminum Strut Bushing
On a side note, I run with the fronts as firm as they go to avoid fender well rubbing and rears at the 2nd softest setting unless I have people in the back then I go to the 4th softest

Re: Post pictures of your first gen CR-V project.
I used a heat gun on mine ( same spot before i got the car), and pushed it out from the backside with a hammer. Not perfect, but not dented anymore

fast2camciv and preludepeterr, what did you use to lower you CRV? Also, what size tires are you running? Thanks in advance for any feedback. I'm very impressed with the CRVs on this post!

Picked this up 2 weeks ago. Only thing I've done is change the radio and put a hitch on it and bought a clock to go in it which I have yet to wire up. Thinking of lifting it or just putting some bigger tires on it.

Howdy,
UK based new CR-V owner (1st Gen - 2000) and I'm looking forward to finding out all the stuff I should have found out about before I bought it.
I've been looking for something to help me negotiate some v.steep on-road hills (and the odd track) during my summer holidays in the mountains of Snowdonia. The CR-V seemed to fit the bill.
I'm a 48 yr old with a keen interest in all things car-related. Soft spot for Alfa Romeo. Considered a Suburu Forester/Outback or CR-V. Hopefully I've gone for the right one.
I'll do some searching of the DIY threads, and I might post the odd question.
All the best
Steve
I've been doing a few jobs....
Changed oil
air filter + cabin filter
fitted two sidelight bulbs
cleaned it in and out (smokers car previously)
changed trans fluid

old air filter -
not clean -
bumper was a lot goosed -
heat gun makes it a bit better? -
leak fixed -
ditched these
for
front windows not working
relay ok
fuses ok

need to test switch and ground

Hi, New to the board here. This is my 97 V. Before and after. I put on some painted g35 wheels, lowered about 3", painted and coaxed an S2k Lip on it. Its my daily so i'm keeping it relatively simple for now.
