Default New to me 98 V DD for my daughter

Just picked up a 1998 CRV for my daughter when she turns 16 in a few months. I was shopping around for a while when I found this one. Asking price was $2695. Got it for $2200. She needs abit of help but a great platform to start.

Here she is on the dealer lot:

Slapping in some new parts: seals, timing belt, belts, plugs, plug wires, cap & rotor, changed the juices, some new bushings, fixed broken door linkage, pulled the radio to set missing security code & fixed the clock,

Here she sits in the driveway on new snow tires and winter rims...

Still need to find some parts. I'd also like to find a way to get some fog lights on it to help out the crap low beams.

a set of HIDs make a big difference for the headlights. Oem USDM/CDM fog lights sit on top of the bumper and just look like regular offroad lights. EDM bumpers have a spot for fog lights. Your choice for factory though. Id just opt for the HIDs, actually, i did.

Thx for the info LDF. Do the HIDs replace only the low beams?

I won't go with the USDM mickey ears. They are kinda silly lookin. Also too cheap to drop the coin for the EDMs although they look the best.

i thought the exact same way, lol. Some hids have xenon highs and lows, some have xenon lows and halogen highs. Mine are of the later, and i just never use high beams as the lows are brighter than the highs.

I have hi/lo hids in mine and the blue color sucks in the rain and in the snow. I've got yellow foglights and they help out a lot. I like the look of big fogs on top of the bumper. The hella 500s are peaking my interest and I might add those on top of my edm bumper

Thanks for the info everyone. Right now I am leaning toward bullbar that will facilitate fog light mounting. I am going to look into hids also though.

That sounds like it would work. My prefered method is to invite him down to my reloading room for a little chat while I reload 12ga shells with rocksalt, seems to be working so far.

Everyone needs guns, and did you guys just slap in the HID kit from say xentec?
No projectors? Does this work well at all? I hate my factory headlights. The headlights themselves are brand new aftermarket but the bulbs blow. all my other cars have factory hid's
