More stalling problems

Default More stalling problems

Ok so iv been working on my moms crv.. Itll drive until warm up or at idle it jus dies

Things iv replace
Ignition switch replace (dealer recall)
Fuel pump
Fuel filter & air filter
Replace the ignition cylinder w/new keys
Ignitor replace

After i swap the ignition/key cylinder it idke for a few and the check light came on
I hook up my reader came up with p1336

Thats the crank sensor right? Im thinkn of doing the bypass trick

Plz lmk watcha guys think..

Do you mean po336? The codes don't go into 4 digits. The book I got with my code reader shows po336 as something with the crankshaft position sensor.

yes, they do hit 4 digits, p0336 is not po336.

IDK about a bypass hack, but check the sensor and signal source (usually a toothed ring)

P0336 Honda - Crankshaft Position Sensor 'A' Circuit Range/Performance

Possible causes
- Faulty crankshaft position sensor
- Crankshaft position sensor harness is open or shorted
- Crankshaft position sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Signal plate may be damage
- Starter motor may be faulty
- Starting system circuit
- Dead or weak battery

P1336 Honda - Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation Sensor Intermittant Interruption

What do you mean the toothed ring? Yes im actually fixn to check the signal source.. If the plug is bad i have couple laying around ill jus replace the plug.. That wud work right if the plug is bad

I thought Honda used rodent repellent wire stuff...

I'm having the same stall problems. Thinking of replacing the Crankshaft sensor next. Did you ever do this? And did that work? I'm just lamenting the job I'll have to hire someone to do to replace it. Honda doesn't make it easy. You have to remove wheel, all belts, open timing belt, just to get at it.
