Need help...where is this sound? This always disappear when I am driving. Interestingly, I brought it to my mechanic in this morning and there was no sound. The mechanic checked the vehicle and said there is no problem in the transmission or other things.

Check around your alternator, idler and water pump pulleys’ for being tight, or a cable, or some other component dropping down and catching on one or more of the pulley. It could even be the belt fraying along the edge.
