Lowering a 2nd gen CR-V
I see a lot of info on lowering the 1st gen but nothing on the 2nd. I know H&R has springs and Meghan has a coilover set but has anyone lowered one using a kit from another car like an accord or civic?

Re: Lowering a 2nd gen CR-V
I have a 2005 crv 6speed. I have tein basic coilovers for a Honda Element. All I had to do was replace my outer tie rod ends with Honda Element tie rod ends. The reason is because the Element has a 19mm tie rod end nut and the CR-V has a 17mm tie rod end nut. Get an alignment after.
Or you can get d2 or ksport coilovers that are 2nd gen crv specific.

Some people have used coils off of accords or civics, but from what I read, they had to do some sort of adjustments/custom work.
I tried to find some direct fit solutions and all I can come up with are H&R springs($200-250) or coils from Yonaka, Megan Racing, D2, & K Sport. ($800-1100).

looks like i will just have to give in and bet the coilovers. the drop from H&R's wouldn't be enough for me i know it.
