Icon2 Help Needed: 2004 Honda CRV engine starting issue

Hi everyone! Having an annoying problem starting my CRV the past few months. Brought it to my mechanic, he said it might be my Viper alarm causing problems with my kill switch so the alarm guys I know did a re-wire to prevent that from happening as it is common for alarms to do that? Not sure. Anyway, problem solved for a few months - then it happened again. Brought it to my mechanic. Said it might be the alarm or it could be my starter.

All lights go on, it's a fairly new battery as well with no real mechanical issues with it, until now. No clicking noises heard when ignition key turned.

Help? Suggestions? Or should I have a Honda Dealer look at this matter? I'm not too techy so any recommendations would help. Thanks!

Get some one to turn the key while you check for voltage at the small terminal on the starter. If it has power and there is still no life then it is the starter if no power then it could be Ignition switch, Alarm, Wiring or if it is automatic, the transmission cut off switch.
Another way to check is make sure it is not in gear then connect a wire to the battery positive and then touch the other end to the small terminal on the starter if it turns over the starter is OK, if not it is faulty.

Maybe the battery connection is not good. You can apply the dieletric grease on the terminals of your battery and tighten your wires with the battery. If there is still no crank, you need to check your starter.
