Default Dipstick on a 2002 crv 5 speed

im getting ready to do a tranny fluid change on a 2002 honda crv 5 speed. I cant find the transmission/fill hole. I seen where they are on the automatics im assuming its located in the same place for a manual correct?

There isn't a dipstick, you remove the fill and check the fluid level there. You can find the drain plug on the side of the trans opposite the engine. The drain plug takes a 3/8 ratchet to loosen it and the fill plug is aprox 2 inches higher and towards the back. It takes a 17mm wrench. The easiest way to fill it is a funnel with an elbow. You will need two quarts of the Honda MTF
