Any real experience with Yonoka coilovers? They're priced well at $575 currently which about the same as if I were to replace my blown OE stuff. I've seen reviews from other models but haven't come across any CRV specific reviews. I'd like to lower mine about 2 inches with some better wheels and tires and upgraded sways. It's a daily so nothing crazy.

I have been riding on this setup for about 9 months. Took a little bit of finagling to get the height I wanted, but the ride is not bad at all.

Getting ready to change some things up. My rear springs (higher rate) and front shocks, outside of some other performance mods. I dont suspect my front shocks are BLOWN, but they've seen two different spring rates and been daily driven on alot of trips. I'm sure refreshing them, I'll be able to tell a big difference, though theres currently nothing to complain about.

Great replacement for OEM and a good price, I am using the G Struts with good results.

Back in an RD1. Debating on 6 or 7k back springs this time. Going to start with the 6s I think. Hard to choose. It's usually just me in the car which makes me want the 7s but we can always swap em out later...

Back again - most threads I post on are for research purposes - IE I searched for a quick comprehensive answer and couldn't find it - so I used my best judgement and tried something, and am reporting back if anyone ELSE is in the same position as me.

The 550f 350r setup is good for a "cheap" first setup.
Notes
1. You CAN use generic replacement ek front shock. I would HIGHLY SUGGEST some decent aftermarket ones - gas charged, but I used some cheap ebay replacements my very first time around, and they still had decent damping when I swapped for aftermarket.
2. To be low like a car, you HAVE to shave the passenger control arm AT THE MINIMUM.
3. You will not be able to get the alignment to spec without rear camber kit
4. To be any lower than like 2-3 finger gap, you'll need front upper control arms that are adjustable(to get alignment to spec). AFAIK the only company making these now (for lowered RD1) is TruHart

Sidenote - the stock exhaust pipe hangs fairly low off the vehicle.

In the next 3ish months, I'll be amassing parts to redo my setup and go a touch lower

I am still deciding what wheel/tire to run, but I'm currently happy with my wheel/tire setup - its not currently wife approved bc my passenger tire scrubs on big bumps, but it WOULD be if I raised the car up a little. My wife doesn't ride with me very often so I kinda halfway ignore her complaints =D
