Cooling fan keeps blowing???
Hey everyone,
When I turn the A/c on the 20a cooling fan fuse keeps blowing.
Any ideas what needs to be replaced? Or is it a short?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Cooling fan keeps blowing???
The under-hood Fuse No. 4 (20A) protects the radiator fan relay and fan circuit.
The short can be either with the radiator fan wiring, the radiator fan relay, or wiring coming from either the PCM or radiator fan switch.
1. Try this. Unplug the radiator fan motor gray connector. This should be attached to the radiator fan shroud. Turn on the A/C, does Fuse No. 4 still blow?
If it doesn't blow with the radiator fan disconnected, then the short is probably at the radiator fan motor or the section of the wiring.
2. If it still blows, then it may be the relay or wiring before or after the relay.
At the bottom of the radiator is the radiator fan switch. Unplug the 2P gray electrical connector from the fan switch. Use a piece of wire or small paper clip and jump the two terminals on the gray harness connector. Turn the ignition to ON, does Fuse No. 4 blow?

OK.
So 1st I was mistaking it is the 30a Condenser Fuse that blows.
I followed you instructions anyways and the fan on the passenger side when disconnected does not blow the fuse. Seems that fan is the issue.

With the A/C turned on, if the under-hood Fuse No. 1 (30A) doesn't blow with the A/C condenser fan disconnected; but, the fuse blows with the fan connected, then the condenser fan motor or condenser fan wiring is suspect. First, examine the condenser fan's wiring closely.

Thank you.
Two questions?
Best online resource for the fan motor?
Looking I see the the fan AND motor can catually be as much as JUST the motor.
What would you recommend? Hoping to order tonight to arrive before the weekend.
