Default 98 honda crv cv replacement still popping

I have a 98 Honda CR-V EX a/t awd that is making a front popping noise while turning to the left. The steering wheel fights me at the same time. Here is what I have done so far. I replaced the front drivers side complete cv axle assembly and took it for a test drive. It was much better but still had some popping while turning left but the steering was ok. So we replaced the passenger cv axle assy and test drove it and the car was worse than when it first started. It started out a week ago while making a left turn and I heard a loud pop. I continued driving home[about 3 miles] and it was popping and steering wheel was fighting me going to the left. I parked it and began repairing as noted above. I hope someone can help me. Please hepl with advice and here are a few questions I have. 1. could it be in the gears in the front differential? 2. If so can that be repaired without pulling the transmission? 3. Would having the steering be normal after replacing the drivers side axle[but still having some lighter popping] indicate the front transaxle is okay? 4. Why would it be worse after replacing the passenger side axle? 5. The drivers side axle was new and the passenger side rebuilt from Carquest. Any other questions please ask. Thank you in advance!!!!!!!!!!

I also want to note that I lifted the car and spun the wheels and the drivers side is okay but the passenger side is spinning and then binding up periodically.

try this, jack the wheel off the ground and grab the tire at 12 and 6 o clock. try and see if there in vertical axis play. if so I would suspect a possible bad wheel bearing. does it make any bad noises while driving down the road or a shaky steering wheel.

also inspect your tie rod end link. if the boot is damaged it needs to be replaced. also inspect your lower ball joints in the same manner.

these are all suggestions on things to check out.

with all suspension work you'll need to go get an alignment after parts are changed.

dogbiscuit is pointing you in the right direction (Also I hope he is a Cardinal fan).
This is an often overlooked part that can result in suspension noise. Also the sway bar bushings wear out which can cause some noise.

Update. It pops turning left and right and the steering wheel pulls out of your hand. All the suspension seems ok. The transmission fluid is pink and smells right. The passenger wheel is binding. Both front axles have been replaced. Driving straight it has no problems. Parked with the engine running you can turn the steering wheel no problem. There is no noise unless turning under power.

I understand the suspension and wheel bearing concerns. However all is fine there. I have no shaking of the steering wheel. I do get the steering wheel ripping out of my hands and hard steering IN TURNS along with a POPPING sound. Driving STRAIGHT everything is normal. With all four wheels off the ground the passenger wheel gets stuck intermittenly when spinning. The popping is LOUD and steering binds bad in moderate turns. Even slight turns create a popping sound that gets louder the sharper the turn and the steering wheel gets hard and you sometimes briefly lose steering.
