Default 2000 CRV Coolant Leak

Hey guys, my 2000 CRV has developed a small coolant leak. It only leaks when its parked, engine is off, and when temps get into the low 50's or cooler (That's cold here in Southern California). When that happens I find a small half-dollar size amount of coolant under the CRV in the morning. Drive the CRV to work, leave it parked all day, nothing drips. Nights where it has stayed warmer don't seem to cause a drip (yet).

The leak is on the drivers side. Can't see anything looking down. Crawling under the car, I can see it is dripping and running down to my oil pan and dripping off a low point there. Based on this, my hunch is the water pump is the source of the problem.

Anything else in that general vicinity it could be? Anything else I should look for or try before taking it to the shop?

That's going to be a spendy repair, and getting to the water pump isn't something I want to do on my own. Can't remember if I replaced the water pump when I had the timing belt done approx 30k ago.

You're gonna have to really look up there with a flash light.

Our radiators are prone to cracking as well, since the top of it is plastic. The crack would expand just enough when the car is warm to leak out a little bit of fluid, and then closes up when it cools down.
Something to look into.

Ok but that has nothing to do with the location of the coolant leak.

Unless it is a bad head gasket there is nothing on that side to leak coolant other than the water pump. The weep hole should be visible with a flashlight. Look for any staining or possible corrosion coming out from it.
