Re: 1st gen crv rear differential ratio question
the rear end on the manual trans crv and auto trans crv are identical. both use carrier sub assy pt# 41010-P6R-345 Questions like these can easily be answered by cross referencing honda part numbers from websites like http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com (Majestic Honda)
Hope that answers your questions, FOR SURE lol

Re: 1st gen crv rear differential ratio question
even if it is a crv, i still want to see pics of it lol
I only asked because there is a vid on youtube of a EK hatch doing doughnuts...and it appears to be swapped/boosted, and rocking rt4wd drivetrain...and i cant find ANY info on the car, so the screen name had me curious

Re: 1st gen crv rear differential ratio question
Pretty sure its the usual rt4wd swap. I've found tiny tidbits online about that car, and from the sounds of it, its a built/boosted b-series swap...so obviously its using a CRV 5spd trans. But i wanted to know if he is using the CRV rear end or the Wagovan rear end...and same with the driveline. CRV (TCD Unit...clutch packs) or the Wagovan (Viscous Coupler)
whatever setup he's using, it seems to work pretty good!
