1999 crv ex power door lock problem
Question regarding 1999 Honda CR-V: power door lock problem.
The remote is able to lock and unlock all the doors, however the power door switch inside the car can only lock the doors but is unable to unlock any of the doors. Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you for your quick response.
I guess that the switch is a simple two way on and off switch (please let me know if I am wrong). I found three terminals on the switch. I checked the terminal connection with the multimeter. When the switch is up, the ground is connected to a terminal. When the switch is down, it is connected to the other terminal. The terminal also look very clean. So I guess that the switch is functional.
Please let me know if you or anybody has any information regarding this problem.
Thank you.

Mine doesn't do anything...but I guess it's because I have an aftermarket alarm installed and I probably installed one or two wires incorrectly. I can lock/unlock my doors with both my factory alarm and aftermarket alarm remotes, but the actual switch on my door doesn't do anything anymore. I'll have to find some time to fix this issue...but I'm soooo lazy.

Wires break in the door jamb. Its common on the crv. I fixed mine on the drivers and passenger side, as well a couple others. Could be your problem.

Hello I have the problem with broken wires at the connector in the door on a 1998 CRV does anyone know where I can find these connector pins? I was just going to t cut off the wires and butt splice them in the door but I would rather fix it with the correct connector pins

Re: 1999 crv ex power door lock problem
only my drivers door works, the others dont do anything, guess ill be searching for a "how-to" to fix this, i found a few ideas but nothing really solid yet, don't want to spend the $$$ for new wiring from honda which would be really easy(plug-n-play), and no point in getting one from a junk yard cuz itll probably be bad too since this is a pretty big problem for the Vs from what ive read.

there is a forum on page 5 where some one explanes how to repair the wires in the connector.it's very detailed with pictures. Good luck. I taken out the connector and put all the connected all the wires directly together with out taking off the door completly
