Congrats. Only way you are going to hang with a new Si to to go forced induction. After owning my E for 6 years I can tell you it is not the fastest rock on he earth.

They are a great car, but you will need around 400hp to lug the beast around at any speed similair to an SI.

Kpro on the 08 element is more difficult than on the older models, as the 07 up have drive by wire and the CAN-BUS system that operates the dash, ac, and other controls, as opposed to the ECU doing those things. You will need a dual kpro herness similair to what they are now running in the TSXs and such. Thats what I did when I boosted mine.

Best of luck!

Eibach is the only one who makes coils for the SC.

The front springs are wound the opposite way around the shock on the SC models.

The Tein S-Techs ride about the same height as the OEM SC, as the SC is lowered 1" from the factory. The Eibach springs offer 1" drop in the front and 1.5 in the rear, and looks quite nice, but still has enough ride height to clear bumps, etc.

FWIW, I am switching to the Tein coilovers, and having them built with adjustable dampening. The stock shocks are a little soft for the higher spring rates of the Eibach springs.
