lol could've fooled me RPF1 are nice cuz they're light but not sure if that'll be a good thing for our V (little too light)...I think biggest I'll go is 17s don't want that big 4wheeler monster truck look with bigger rims well I like the concave look of the 17x8 rota grid vs the 17x7.5 flat look...a little more aggressive kinda (17x8) don't really like rota never had rota but could go with VOLK t37 but it's just my DD and kinda pricey could use the money on something else .... tires??? I'm thinking 225/55 or 215/55 not sure yet or maybe even 50? I'm not sure what's better for milage/speed but will see

:::AS far as ADDCO nawh I just don't wanna deal with it don't got that much time to deal with it now that school is back in session(from break) so going to find something else direct bolt on instead...damn ADDCO lol oh well maybe "ultra racing" I think is what it's called but it's only 16mm if I remember right at least better than OEM I guess ....

I finally finished building the motor today... I started building it over the weekend but due to my busy work schedule and family, it took me a little longer to finish it up...
here some some pics of the build...

What ecu are you using? Might just be a tire size issue, most dohc vtecs come in cars with smaller wheels than V's. I'm probably wrong

Im using stock ecu right now.... When i had the stock cluster , I was at 4k rpm going 80mph.... After I switch to si cluster, im at 3100-3200 at 80mph... The rpm is accurate but definitely not the speed....

really weird, the only things I can think of to effect the correlation between rpm/speed would be tire size, gear ratio, speed senor(?). Hope you figure it out, even though its not a big deal, i can see how it could get annoying if your ocd like me.

actually most honda tachs are off by 2-300rpm and speedos are off by 3-5mph

i have a silver EX that i just build a high comp b20v using a gsr head and i too am riding on h&r springs but with tokico blues instead. rides good for rolling on 18s with 40series tires. wish i could go lower

good build so far man

When I had my stock cluster my speed is only 1-2 mph off from my gps (same wheels) .. After I swap to a different cluster , it's off by 10 mph..... I know it's the cluster that is off... : p

i have an 01that im planning a similiar build on in the spring....have been collecting my parts all year. my concern is the tranny/ transfer case.....whats the durability of the units? i have heard **** poor....but may have been mis-informed. it is an auto...and will remain an auto( its my dd/kid toter/grocery getter) plus my hatch is a stick....so im good with that.....thanks for any input you might have...

sweet build too by the way.....definitely gonna surprise a few people....
