Hi there, regards form Poland. Very good thread m8s! Also very nice cars. In Europe it is not so polular to modificate CR-V, civic-accord-integra-s2k-usdm is popular but not SUV so all yours opinion is very precious for me, thanks!

Went off-roading for a bit. We went for some backcountry snowboarding tour, up to 5000' on this logging road. EMU rear springs with bilsteins HD, tires are 225-70-16 on stock rims, as big of a tire you can fit on 2005-2006 on stock rims without having to trim anything

How did it fit in the rear ? I tested my 225/75/16 duratrac on the oem wheel and they dont fit they sit right on top of the spring and wheel well. I tested it with a spacer and it cleared it.

its tight for sure but it clears, a small spacer wouldn't be a bad idea just to give it a bit more clearance. No rubbing so far and its been a few weeks since i install the new All terrain tires

HIGH AT LAST HIGH AT LAST
Despite several trials and tribulations the CRV is finally all together and I couldn't be more pleased. I really notice the lift just climbing in. It rides firm and straight. Not too bumpy and NO RUBBING. I spruced up the black plastic with plasty dip. The tires stick out just enough without any spacers. I put on the roof rack crossbars today and will shop for a cargo basket tonight. I plan to debut the V at our annual Boy Scout district Camporee in two weeks. That blue thing in the pic is my daily driver(LOL), but the CRV has won her place in the garage tonight. Name: image.jpg

I am still waiting for my lift kit from colorado mountain rally. I have a stock piles of parts in the garage just waiting... Its bad as I keep changing my mind on rims 15 or 16 inch and of course style. Anticipation is killing me!

You better decide quickly on those wheels and tires. If you have a 1st Gen CR-V the CMR lift should not be a problem (I'm the prototype for the 2nd gen apparently ) but you will need a good alignment with your final tire choice. The anticipation will really kill you looking at that jacked V on the OEM wheels and tires and not being able to drive it. So what's it going to be, a hard core rock climber with 15" black steel Cragars or rally/baja with 16" alloys and lower profile all season tires. Get on Summit Racing website and look around. Good luck.

Cargo Rack Done
Just put on this new Thule Canyon rack. It replaced their Moab model. It's more sleek and modern looking than the safari look of the Moab. I think the lines compliment the shape of the CR-V. I mainly chose this rack because it fit an infinite number of distances between the crossbars which are fixed on the 2nd gen V. Most racks had set distances none of which lined up with my V. Looking good. I like the rack. Also glad that CMR finally sorted everything out. Making us Colorado boys look bad. Haha

I like the white paint and I like the original wheels and I love the manual transmission. A late model first generation should prove for easy modifications and several years of driving pleasure. And that red thing's not so bad either.

Sorry for being lazy but I been searching everywhere and I have a first gen crv can some one make me some lift spacers 3" lift for all 4 corners .i found out u can use strut mount spacers up to 4" before you have drive line problems. So I can't find any non scam places to get some spacers made . I'd like to help a fellow enthusiast if u make me the blocks I'll pay you for them. Simple enough
