I haven't and quite frankly, I don't think I would do that. Just doesn't seem very safe or sturdy enough...

Newly lifted from this past weekend. I used 2" spacers and another 3/4" leveling spacer in the rear and the tires are 30's. It looks like a totally different car from before:

Have you guys had any problems with the alignment??? I'm being told by the shop that they got it aligned as best they could. However, the front end (steering wheel) is shaking pretty good from 60-75MPH... Not sure if I don't need to find another shop.

To be honest with you, I didn't get mine aligned after I put the OME springs, Crager Soft 8's, and the 215 BFG's on. Ive never had any issues over the last 2 years of driving it but something has just recently came up. I'm not certain that its Alignment related since it just happened out of no where, but when I'm running 30+ and I let off the gas, the car pulls to the left. When I accelerate, the car pulls back to the right.

Any one else ever experienced this?

Looks like your CRV wheel/tire selection is the perfect setup and I'd definitely would mimic this setup for my 2000 awd CRV...what is the BFGoodrich A/T tire specs??

After my lift was installed, the alignment was wayyyyyyyy out :/ my tires would of lasted about a month if i had of not gotten if fixed after the lift. Not sure how you have gotten away with it for so long.

I see quite a few familiar CRV's on here and I'm going to start working on my lift setup this coming month. Just trying to figure out what direction to go with my wheel setup. I seen one local a few weeks ago that was 15x8 with a 30x9.5 tire but even though it had a -13 offset and I think I want something with a little bit more offset or run a spacer.

So I just got my 2" kit from Colorado Mountain Rally. It took about a month and a half to get it, which didnt bother me all that much, but as an apology, they also sent me a leveling kit. This is a bit strange because the website specifically says you probably shouldn't combine the leveling kit and the lift. Either way, I got 100 dollar value for free!

Here is my C-V before the lift. I'm planning on attempting it tomorrow.

My only question to those of you who have done this would be whether or not you did anything about the camber. It looks to me like the rears will actually be about neutral after the lift, but the fronts will be positive.

I've also heard talk about sway bar replacement. Necessary? Thanks for the help.

Have asked in a few different places but still haven't got a definitive answer. Anyone know if Bseries aftermarket fuel rails are interchangeable from a b16/b18 onto our b20's?

I am going to change to Braided hoses and AN fittings and was looking for a nice fuel rail to bolt up. Most rails listed for sale say "for all bseries" but then can never be sure. Golden Eagle has one listed for B20b engines but seems to be exactly the same as the rails listed for B16/18 etc

Anyway, thanks for the help

Here are some pictures of my 98 CRV-EX AWD.
- 218,000 miles
- I removed and painted the faded gray bumper covers, body molding, and the center caps on the wheels black.
- In the process of painting the windshield wiper arms, roof rack, and window molding.
- 225-75-15 Kuhmo Road Venture Ats on stock suspension
- Researching and planning to install a lift. Would like to go to a 235-75-15 if possible.Name: 0225121658 2xx.jpg

Not at all. The only problem I had was when I first put the tires on. They rubbed on the thin metal "fin" (I don't know the technical name for it) on the front of the rear wheel wells. A hammer took care of that. I have had no other problems with rubbing.

So I managed to install my Colorado Mountain Rally lift kit. It was much more difficult than I had anticipated. Took three afternoons of working on it to get it done. Seemed as if nothing was going the way it was supposed to. The instructions are decent however re-seating the strut after attaching the spacers was very very difficult on the fronts.

That said it's all together now, looks great, but i'm getting a lot of strange noises coming from the rear at low speeds when the weight of the car shifts, not necessarily when I go over large bumps. I'm not sure what the issue is, but I'll probably be replacing the struts in the rear to see if it solves anything.

Has anyone else that has installed this kit noticed any knocking noises from the suspension?

Glad to hear you got it done. I didn't think it would be that bad. sorry I didn't have any pointers for you. but i know mine was a real pain. Do you have a pic of your v? was the rear higher than the front? I have been trying to get in touch with kevin at cmr about my 2nd gen being super high in the rear and asking if i could just get the rear booster lift instead. been almost 2 weeks and still no answer. anyways, glad you got your install done.

Yep, Mine squeeks and makes strange noises as well. Although mine is coming from my rear camber arms. Bushes are busted out, so there is movement (after two weeks lol) They were the rear arms supplied through ColoradoMountainRally (garbage) oh well. I have been meaning to change them for a while now... I'll get around to it eventually.

I decided it had to be the rear drivers side strut, I had a little mishap while I was installing it and believe I broke it. I went ahead and bought two KYB struts for the rear, just finished installing them and everything now runs and sounds perfectly! 220 dollar fix. Not the worst thing that could have happened.
