Zc help
So I have a 90 si with a sohc non vtec zc and tranny swap. And just recently the tranny has gone out. And I have a low mile si trans laying around, so the question is will the si trans mount right up to the zc or what kinds of things need to be done for the si tranny to work? Thanks!

Re: Zc help
It will mount right up. The only difference between the ZC and the d16a6 is the cam I think.
(However, you will not be able to use the ZC axles and intermediate shaft anymore, so you will need regular axles.)

your current tranny needs clarification on where it came from. was it the original tranny that was bolted to the SOHC non VTEC ZC? DOHC ZC?
do you even have an intermediate shaft?
do you know what axles were used on the current tranny?

Re: Zc help
Yea bro it'll work. Just si uses one long axle and one short axle, the dohc zc uses two shorts and a halfshaft like an integra. But yea it'll work either way. You prob had one long and one short anyway.
