ys1 speedo wiring?

ys1 speedo wiring?
I have a 1990 crx with a B18b swap with a ys1 trany and it's my first honda so i need some help. The 2 yellow wire's are hooked up but the black one is not, were do's it go with this swap?

ok what i think you are getting at is your speedo is not working and those wires i think go to your reverse light switch are they on the front or back of the tranny? and the problem is probably the swap came with a electronic vss and your car unless you have a sir cluster or swapped a gsr cluster is cable driven .

Can't you use your regular cluster? All you need to do is replace your VSS that plugs in your tranny with a cable type. Then simply plug the speedo cable from the back of your cluster to the cable vss. (vehicle speed sensor). You can probably pull one from your old motor.

that's your problem.
take the cluster out and snap pictures of it for us. chances are the previous owner modified the car to run on an electronic VSS.

The black wire just needs to be grounded to the chassis or other ground wire in the wire harness (more extensive but cleanest and oem way to do it) and you may get it working. No telling why it would not be hooked up but streetwerks is right on, you need to take pics of it so we can better assist you. try grounding the wire first though cause that may be all you need to do if your lucky
