Isn't it a general rule of thumb to match the timing belt with the head?
I know in some cases thats false. Like a d15b2 with a Z6 head, u use the b2 belt.

dammit, why dont you tell him why it wont work? i hate it when people just say no and dont explain.
the ZC SOHC is basically an A6 block. The A6 belt is also longer. The one you need is a Y8 timing belt with 104 teeth on it. i know cause i did this two nights ago.
hope that helped.
