What is the difference in these 2 ECU's?

usually the end numbers have to do with which market they were made for, like US, Japan, australia, europe, ect. they each have different emissions regulation so although they are basically the same ecu the program might be slightly different. those # arent that important as far as I know. I might be wrong. Just my experience

Or if thats not the case, one would be for the 88-89 pm6 and the other may be for the 90-91 pm6. Difference being is that the 90-91 one can be chipped easily.
