turboing ef
so im a totally a newb so be gentle.
1991 honda civic stock everytning. D series. D16y
i want to turbo my ef but the only thing i know i need as for a minimum to get it working is:
turbo
down pipe
exhaust manifold
fmic
piping for front mount
waste gate
what else do i need just to get this working?

d16y? did you swap the motor?
i would not put all that money into a turbo set-up and run no type of engine managment...ur just gonna kill your motor...while that is a very vague statment there is only so much we can teach you in one thread...try the forced induction forum and read as much as you can...this will atleast give you a better understanding of how a turbo works and what you need in order to keep everything in copntrol and most importantly, reliable.

gots to go with some kind of engine management. i was gonna cheap out and go with a missing link and an fmu but a buddy of mine with a turbo eg did and well, lets just say the engine is in the garage.... not in the car, you know? im using uberdata on mine, if you want to keep obd0 then use tuboedit, its cheap, thats why i went with uberdata for mine and i monly running 6lbs
