I am on the fence on which cam shaft to buy. these are the current brands I am considering.

skunk2.
delta cam.
blox.

these are second choices for me. as i think these might be more pricier and im not that serious enough to dish out that much yet.
brian crower.
bisimoto
crower cams.



its going into a d16a6 block with a y8 head.
it will be tuned and I do have a cam gear for any adjustments needed for the cam itself.

the question is not about the engine as much as it is a question about the actual companies products. do they actually perform as they advertised.
given, if it was inserted into the same engine with all parts and tuning being equal. which cam will produce more wider range power.

OH wow this GUY.

You Have a extra CAM shaft just send it to DELTA 262 for daily & 272 for lopes sounds BUT you WILL NEED TUNE for this to RUN corect.

BEEN there done that TWICE LOL.

ALSO side NOTE they DID some cam shafts i sent them 1 that they LOST/misplaced? but LIKE 1 year later AFTER i moved on, I GET this CALL about how they found my CAM shaft.

OTHER then THAT there CAM shafts have worked for what there worth.

what a cam does depends on what you are using the car for, is this going to be a daily driver? a car for drag races, for autocross? there is a lot more to it then what produces more, selecting a cam depends on a lot of different factors, what mods are done to this engine? cam won't do much of anything with a stock exhaust and intake, and without proper tuning
