Hi everyone. I've had my 1990 HB for a while now but have still have no idea what the trim is.

My VIN # is 2HGED633XLH003041

So far from this website http://members.lycos.nl/hendrik/honda/vin.htm , I know these things:

2=Canada
H=Honda
G=Passenger Vehilce
ED6=Civic HB 1.5L
3=3 Door Manual
3= ???2.1S Prelude???
X=Position check digit
L=1990
H=Alliston, Canada
003041 = 003041st car built that year.

But the 8th digit really puzzles me (2.1S Prelude??). Can anyone tell me if my car is a dx, lx, or std. And what the heck is std stand for??!? Anyway my 2 dr HB only has a 4 spd manual transmission.

I'm gonna have to say LX but don't quote me .

Edit: If its not LX I'd say CX.

the 4 speed manual tranny would mean that its a Std, or Standard model. That's assuming you have the stock engine.

There wasn't even an CX sold in Americia for the 88-91 year - in any body style. The LX only came in 4-door as well..

CX in Canada! Seems like some of you purposely forget about us up here....

Does it have painted bumpers? And where is the cat located? Two other things to look for other than tranny....

ok.. 1.5l = DX or CX (US STD)

4spd manual = CX
5spd manual = DX
