which engine? - this is the diagram for the 88-91 CRX/Civic engines - please note that the Si D16A6 is different from the D15 engines:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by builtsinglecam &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i have a d15b7 it should be the same but so the red mark on the pulley gets set between the two notches correct </TD></TR></TABLE>no - the three marks together are the ignition timing marks - TDC is the white mark, all by itself, off to the right of the three marks - labeled 'B' in the lower picture - the white mark lines up with the pointer on the cover for TDC

hello. i'm a noob here. why is it that there are 2 pointers? the one on top and the one below? and what's the purpose of those ignition timing marks? sorry for the noob question. i tried adjusting my timing before but i only adjusted 2 cylinders (total of 6 valves) since i had a feeling i wasn't doing it right. thanks
