Icon6 timing marks on crank pulley...

hey i know when timing a D15B2 your supposed to use the different color marks on the crank pulley, well what if your pulley is so old there are no more colors? from what i can see there are 3 clustered together and 1 by itself? I bought a EF hatch for $500 needed timing belt, did the timing belt and runs good but i want to double check to make sure I'm at 18 degrees which is what the label says under the hood. thanks for your help!

base timing should be 16.5 degrees...

The single mark is 0, the middle one of the 3 close marks is your 16.5.

Be sure you jump the service connector when you are checking timing also.

that means its timed right cause i put a dot where the middle line is and the mark on the lower cover lines up there, and of coarse i jumped the blue connector next to the ECU. My sticker under my hood says base timing at 18+2 advance I don't know why its different then what you said.
