Default Stripped Trans Bolts...

So maybe some of you have seen my other thread I just made about speedo cable, well I hit a much bigger problem. Everything besides the speedo cable was going pretty smooth with the trans removal, until I got to the rear transmission mount. The bolts were SO tight. It took 4 foot of leverage, 2ft breaker bar and 2 foot of pipe on the end to first break them loose but they came out hard the whole way. An impact wouldnt even move em. After 1.5 hrs i got the three bolts out, and when I got the trans out of the car I took a better look. Take a look at the bolt and trans below, the one bolt hole is cracked. What do you guys think is my best option for reinstalling this trans. I need to get it done tomorrow. Should I just try to run in the old bolts with an impact/ man power or should I use a repair method. Any recommendations!? All help is appreciate thanks in advance im in a big pickle right now

I forgot to mention the guy who did the clutch before on this car must have cross threaded the bolts thats what it looked like to me and yes I did have the trans slightly jacked up before I tried to remove the bolts.

Stripped out threads can be repaired by drilling out the hole and installing a heli-coil. Those cracks, though, are something else...
Maybe a pro could fix it, but I doubt it.

Only one of the mounts is cracked. Think itll be safe with 2 out of the three bolts?

EDIT: in the event I do heli coil what size do I need?

Does anything think I should just try running those fasteners back in ?

That looks like the rear engine mount? If so that would be a 12mm bolt. Make sure the thread pitch matches the replacement bolt, and make sure you have the drill bit size the heli-coil kit says to use.
It looks like you were already driving with just two bolts holding down the mount, unless it cracked when you took things apart.

if your not gonna try to make tons of power you can just run 2 of the 3 bolts just fine have a buddy that's running just one on his car he has no problems or anything funny... if you want a cheap fix clean the surface jb weld the cracks and tap the whole clean (forgot the tap pitch) install bolt and your done.

The trans is a bit complicated, they all take the L3 trans, but the DX, SI and HF all have different gear ratios inside. The 88 trans also had a different number of splines on the input shaft. I think the trans case is the same on all of them, though.
