That sounds like fun at 112.
Add me to the scared of the car at 100+ club. I hit about 105 on a very slight hill and just had to back it down (the slower moving cars up ahead were also incentive to do so).
This reminds me, what can you do to increase stability at higher speeds? I can take a guess, but I'd like to hear what others know for a fact.</TD></TR></TABLE>
**** i went from clovis to albuqureque new mexico "235" miles in 2 hours and 11 minutes one time in my stock 85 dx crx.

Your are correct all JDM CRX cars have a speed governer when they come into the UK and Ireland but luckily for me I had mine de-restricted before I ever sat in the car.

Re:
honestly i felt very comfortable at 140, 5th gear in my si revlimit. i was on a pretty good road, 525, couple miles long, 2am about. did this 3 times, two different supras and a rb20 240. all times we had someone go ahead to watch out for people and police. my crx is turbo tho so it got up there a bit faster than people without power adders. approx how long did it really take you guys to get upto 130+ in a basically stock crx? my races werent more than 30 seconds prolly. very slight downhill on cold nights.

Without good tires, brakes and a rear spoiler, you're going to kill yourself.
However...if you run into an obstacle, like i did, say for instance a piece of truck tire tread...you're in trouble.
It cost me my bumper, fender liner, headlight, corner light and my cold air intake. I ran over the intake, and fucked up my exhaust and muffler.
Bad Karma baby.
Really fun, ghettorigging your car roadside.
YES, rear wings help with stability!

Re: (SETI20)
man i used to hit 118mph governor on my pr3 in seconds in my bonestock b16 with exhaust. now chipped pr3 and intake/header/exhaust. i can hit rev limit in 5th gear on a close geared JDM S1 trans. when it had homemade t3 super 60 setup bouncing off rev in 5th took about a mile from a dead stop during highway race.
the kit and wing help tremendously, car is more stable and glides thru the air. i seriously gained 3mph on my traps same ET, even with adding the 100lbs lol

Doing over 100mph in our economy boxes is shaky/scary I don't care what you guys say and my suspension setup isn't bullshit either. We have grocery getters they weren't designed to go that fast.

Re: (90h22acrx)
the chassis was designed to be just that, a chassis..now with the variables of suspension, bushings, braces, etc. a design can evolve.
as far as i know my car is "capable" to "safely" clock 11.99+ sec. et's, NHRA said so. As far as i know my car is "capable" to "safely" manuever any given road course @ highspeeds, SCCA said so. as far as i know my tires are "capable" to "safely" travel 160mph, Toyo said so.
NHRA said my car can go fast
SCCA said my car can turn
Toyo said my car will stick
as long as DPS doesnt say anything im straight

That's over 145 mph.
That's fast.
The speedometer stops at 155 mph.</TD></TR></TABLE>
About a minute later I bumped the tach off the limiter. The speedo just passed the 245 mark. Basically I topped out at 153Mp/h
This is on the german autobahn, where it is both legal, and road conditions are suitable.
