SOHC ZC Questions
So as I've been finding out, a sohc zc non vtec is the same thing as a d16a6. Does this mean that its obd0 as well? are all sohc zc non vtec's obd0?
More important is this sohc zc obd0?

need to swap it into my ef std hatch. just going to run the 4spd tranny.
im aware that i need to do the dpfi-mpfi conversion, but is there anything else?

Re: SOHC ZC Questions
in stock condition, the OBD0 engines have white (they kind of turn yellow with age) plastic connectors at the distributor and injectors - OBD1 have gray plastic connectors - OBD0 engines have the cooling fan switch on the back of the block next to the oil filter - OBD1 has the switch on the thermostat housing - OBD0 uses a 3 rib alternator belt - OBD1 uses a 4 rib belt
some OBD0 and OBD1 SOHC non-VTEC ZCs came with dual carbs
OBD2 SOHC non-VTEC ZCs have the spark plugs at the front side of the valve cover - some look like a D16Y7 and some look like a D16Y7 with a D16Y8 intake manifold

Re: SOHC ZC Questions
that one is OBD-0 if your really unsure call and ask.
good luck getting a single cam from h motors i ordered one and waited weeks while they lied about ordering it, talking about "oh yeah it'll be here next week blah blah blah" 5 weeks in a row with no updates and shitty customer service. eventually just got my money back and found one locally. i also got the feeling while i talked to them that i was a second rate customers because i wasn't dropping thousands. If your looking for a b series they got'em all day, single cams.....not so much
