20s are always a touch small imo and 24s often are too tall. I think the 22's will suit you well. It's what I use and i'm in that range of power.
If you really want to drag, DRs really arn't worth it, but that's just my humble veiw on the matter.

so are drag radials more harsh than slicks? the reason i got drag radials is that i can use them on the street and still use them at the track and get the traction that i need. now with slicks i can only use them at the track. i thought about this for a while before i got them. another thing i got the drag radials is that if i got the slicks i would mount them on my 8 lb lenso's which are not recommended for strey use.

wow thats a story to **** you off if i ever heard one. the sidewaills on the bf goodrich are not stiff. the threads (contact patch) are soft and meaty. some people use and say falken azenas are dag radials in which they are not due to their hard sidewall. they are more of a road course tire. i with my regular cheap tire would spin all of first and could spin just about all of second. with the drag radials on the street testing them could not break loose and was launching at 4k and shifting at redline did not even chirp second. so i do not know how to explain your friends mis fortune but hope i have better luck than him. also ot a spare set of axles just in case
