Single cam Tranny #'s & Differiences
My "si" tranny exploded on me last week so i threw in a 4 speed i had for the time being. But now im looking at getting an si tranny again.
What are the numbers for an 88-89 Si tranny?
I dont want to get screwed over when buying the tranny. Im not going to pay the price of an SI and not get an SI.

The number tag won't make a difference, the stamp on the casing will tell you if it is the big bearing (Si) or small bearing (all other trim levels) transmission. Look in the FAQ the details are in there.
