Default ??'s on Rear Upper Control Arm and Trailing ARm Bushing.

i have a 1988 crx dx. i did a LS rear disc swap on my car (90-93 integra). i changed the upper control arm to the LS one. is it the same size as my 88 crx? any difference? also. my trailing arm bushing in the rears are shot, both sides. if i buy the Energy suspension trailing arm bushing which one do i buy? a crx or Ls?

my car wobbles around when you drive like above 30, it'll like go side to side like a drunk man driving. could it be the rear LS upper control arm and the shot trailing arm bushing?

Get the DA trailing arm bushings. They're bigger than the crx bushings. I believe there is no difference between the crx and ls upper control arm.

Did you use the DA compensator arms? Are the wheels excessively toed in? If this is the case put the crx compensator arms back on. Get a wheel alignment ASAP.

BTW prothane ta bushings are more $ but it will make the job so much easier because you just press the old bushing out and press the new one in. No cleaning up old parts to reuse them....

Compensator arms are the ones closest to the front. What lower control arm did you use?

i used the stock 88 crx lower control arm. learned the DA ones are longer the hard way. the compensator arms goes in front and connects to the trailing arm right?

Yes the comp arm connects to the ta. Make sure you're using the crx compensator arms.
Get an alignment and you'll be fine.

you order the main trailing arm bushing based on the pin that you will use (it goes through the center of the bushing and has the two 17mm head bolts going straight up into the unibody.) the outer diameter of each bushing is the same, its the inner diameter that is different. integra pin is thicker than civic. with the lower control arms, make sure you order the part for whichever control arms you are running, again, the diameters are different for the bushing even though each arm can physically fit. get the part numbers right off energy's site and order ONLY what you need. if your car is mix and match and you get the complete kit, half the **** wont work. also, youre 88 is unique and has a bunch of parts that are 88 only while the rest are 89-91. contact energy.. theyve been pretty helpful to me.
