HELP my car acted like rev limitor at 3400 now wont start
i had my friend do a wire tuck and the dpfi-mpfi because he knew how to do it and i dont like messing with wires to much but when he was finished i was driving it around and that night it ran fine but then it acted like the rev limitor was at 3400 and and now it wont start back up again what could be the problem i switched ecu and still nothing, checked distributor checked plugs and wires... i have a feeling my timing jumped but anything would help

oh, so its a clean *** wire tuck but it doesnt run? you should join AM7.

ya its a clean wire tuck but ya it doesnt run it ran the whole day but right before i was bout to go home it started doing this

you should be throwin a code 4 wchich is ckp(crankposition sensor) that will throw ur car into safe mode and usually means ur dizzy is fucked up. but double check ur wiring cuz thats what was wrong with mine, had OBD0-1 conversion harness and where i believe c1 went to on the obd0 plug i cut and connected it to the wire coming out and fixed it, lol

sounds like your in limp mode try changing the distributor
