RUBBER TRIM!!! Rear Windows and Sunroof - Where Would I Find Id? Cheap Replacement?
Just trying to fix all the little things that bother me on the car and one of them is my chopped/ripped and painted rear window outer rubber mouldings, there all eaten from sanding and such and Id like to replace them
Also my sunroof moulding was painted over and is now cracking and there is some outer rust that Id like to hack out and Id have to remove the moulding.
Where can I get a replacement? Is there any way of doing it for cheap with generic supplies?
Any help id appreciate
Thanks guys

I just ordered numerous trim pieces from this site.
Been ordering from here for a while, real cheap...I guess.

I cant pay for something with money i dont have
All I plan on doing is picking up some urethane caulcking, removing the old moulding I guess by just pulling it, fixing the body of my car and then installing by just throwing in a bead of caulk and then go around the perimater of the window with this
Few questions though
Does the stock crx moulding appear to get bigger at the back corner?
What size and where would I get this stuff? Most accessible
Thanks

it aint that simple the mouldings have nothing to do if its leaking. If it is you have to replace the urthane not just the moldings...most of the time the moldings can be reused. You have to wedge the window off the urethane with a flat thing that adapts up to a jigsaw then scrap old urethane. appl new and put your window or anythingyou took off back on

Re: (swap0em5out)
you need primer and 3m "window weld". it comes in a caulk like tube, don't scrape off the old seal when you remove the window. also there is another thread just like this that you bumped up, stating that the trim/molding has nothing to do with the seal of the actual window

its the urethane that keeps the water out. i guess i needed to fully read the topic before i post but o-well. But if your just taking the mold out then all you need is urethane to glue it back down., I dont know where to get the primer if its the primer for the urethane cause we use the stuff that has the built in primer. Re: (swap0em5out)
I dont have a leak, so I wont be removing the urethane, just removing the beat up old trim
But generic window moulding will work right?
Any idea of the size?
Anyone have pics of theres installed with generic moulding, I dont see why it would look so much different
