Ok so I was installing a new battery on my 1991 crx si a when it was dark and reversed the terminals. I saw a spark and pulled the terminal off. Then no lights came on. My battery is relocated to the back. I tried looking through my positive battery cable but there is no fusible link. Any ideas where that is? I checked my fuses but nothing looks to be burnt or weird as far as looks go. What else should I check? The guy before me installed a b18a1 and he might not have added a fusible link since ive looked through the whole cable. I know theres other forums but I havent had anyone with my same problem of not being able to locate a fusible link. Please help

check the large fuses in the underhood fuse box.

Theres a pretty good chance that you fried your ECU

and your coil in the dizzy

Thanks for that pic. How do I know if it is fried or not? Should I just buy those 3 big fuses?

You will be able to see that the copper is no longer attached on the inside of the fuse. But be ready to replace some stuff if the fuse didnt blow. I bought a crx from a friend he did the same thing and sold it to me for cheap, ended up havin to put a ecu, altnator, dizzy and a starter in it, since the main fuse didnt blow it just sat and smoked everything pretty much (he was a dumb *** and didnt unhook the cables just left it hooked up backwards) hopefully you just find a blown fuse thou

Ok well all the fuses seem to be good. Im lookin at having to replace the alternator, starter, and distributer now. Hopefully not the ecu to.

Yup....ECU is probably toast...it happens to mostly all the cars if you reverse them. I've seen this done to many different cars.

well what you could do is follow your power wire up to the front see if the rubber/plastic sleeve has melted off and grounded anywhere that would make sure you dont get power to anything
