Quick TPS Question...
I just got done reading up on the calibration of a TPS sensor and im just making sure of a few things. I have an Omni Power 68mm TB and a skunk2 Intake Manifold on my z6. The TB has the omni power TPS on it but i got this stuff used from somebody else and the TPS is deffinitly not in the right spot (CEL) all TPS's are the same right? on omni's site it says "B-Series" so im just making sure. secondly i know you have to check the the middle wire on the tps. do you have to have it pluged in and then just probe the actual clip with a paper clip? and then just any ground with the negative wire on the volt meter? lastly, what setting should the volt meter be on?

Re: Quick TPS Question...
The voltage for the TPS shouldn't be greater than 5 volts, so use whatever scale setting on your meter that is just above that.
The center lead is what you want to measure with the connector plugged into the TPS. Probe the connector with a piece of wire (paper clip, etc) and attach it to the positive lead of the meter. The negative lead goes to ground, any good ground will do.
***Forgot to add... If all you are measuring is the 0.2 volts or so the TPS should be at when the throttle is closed, you can use a lower scale (1 volt scale?) on the meter for better resolution.
