questions on valve replacement/ head rebuild
Hi, This is my first time posting here. I have a '91 dx which burt a valve. I have the head removed, and I was hoping to find a nice write up to walk me through the valve replacement process, with any labor saving tips. I may just replace the burnt valve, since this is just a cruiser. Or maybe put in the new valve seals all the way around.
Do I have to pull the mains bolts and remove cam, or can I leave it on?
Can anyone pint me to a head rebuild with lots of nice pictures?
Thanks.

There's a few write ups in the FAQ sticky thread at the top of the forum page. Search there first.
For example: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/%5Bfaq%5D-d-series-camshaft-valve-spring-install-write-up-lots-pics-864710/

In my case I have the head removed already so I was wondering if the procedure is any different, whether I can access the valves without removing the cam. If not that's OK, I just hate to take apart more than I have to.
