Default PM6 help

I just got a pm6 off of ebay. The guy said it was from a 90-91, but the ECU has "89.5.15" stamped in ink on it next to the tag.. The tag says 37820-PM6-A080. Did I get screwed? Cause from what I have read the pre 90 PM6 is a lot harder to chip.

The pre-90s are a bastard, just break it open and take a look at the circuit board. If the board looks as such -

Then you have a 90-91.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by vegaskurt &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Thanks for the pic, yeah I got jacked.... IC1 on mine is this huge IC at the top of the board.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I was just reviewing this thread and for clarification purposes, the chip squared off in red is IC19, not IC1.
