ok, which wires to cut on the sport comp autometer tach....
to anybody that has installed a autometer monster tach on their ride. there are a total of six wires, i know wher the green, red, white, and black go. the two tiny ons that are just looped...the orange and the brown.
which one of those or both do i cut if i am installing it on a D16Z6 sohc vtec? thanks

ok, finally got it working. didnt work with the red wired to the starter signal fuse, had to fuse it and go to the + bat. only cut the orange onmine and my friends b16 rex......that way when you turn the car of the rpms drop to 0 instead of staying at whatever rpm the car was at when you turn off the key. better this way for me because i am taking the tach out and doing all custom auto meter dash, don't want the damn needle staying at idle when it isn't on. but thanks everybody
