Default obd0 to obd1 d15b dizzy problem

ok so a few months back i swapped a jdm d15b into my ef. it had already been converted to obd1 by the previous owner when they did a mini me(sohc zc block, z6 head) and the dizzy i was using just went out. i need to get a new dizzy to get it running so i can make it out to ia next weekend. i cant figure out which dizzy to use now. i tried a crx si dizzy, but figured out it had to be an obd1 dizzy. so i got a b7 dizzy, cut the harnesses, wired up my 7 wire circle harness to it, and the circle 2 wire to this one. it still doesnt wanna work. will i have to get a z6 dizzy and use it? im pretty clueless with all this so any information will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

If you aren't using a jumper harness for the distributor plugs and cut the wires. The b7 distributor should work, are you not getting any spark?

well when i originally swapped the motor, i had to do the same thing with the dizzy. cut off the harness for the dizzy that came with the d15b and wired up the harness thatd work with my wiring harness. the part that makes me think ima need a z6 dizzy is that the 3 holes from the b7 dizzy dont line up on the head. 2 of them do, but ones off. im hoping that i just need a z6 dizzy, and that they will line up, but im short on cash, and dont wanna have to buy it and it not work. all the wiring was done previously, as far as the jumper harness goes, so im tryin not to have to mess with it at all, so i dont mess anything up. but it was running fine before it went out

D15B vtec uses the same distributor as the D16Z6, a TD-42U.
