help! 89 ef9 mini-me gone bad
hi all i need some help, 2 weekends ago i started to do a mini me swap. till this day i still dont have it running. what has happened, the engine is complete, harness is in from a 95 SI coupe. i am using a p28 ecu too.
ok now lets get down to business. at first i had only one fuel injector #1 had power none of the others did! knowing that the ecu does the ground and not the pos, i made a hopper to each one. as far as i know the injectors are opening, i can smell a little bit of fuel on the spark plugs, but its very faint. next me and my buddy checked the IGN thinking that there was none of that too, but the coil and icm test are well within specs on the haynes book! but i noticed the black yellow wire that feeds the coil did not have 12v like it is supposed to have. so i put on a 12v feed wire to it. and the wire came lose which triggerd the coil and it jumped from the cap out of the #2 spark plug post. but when we tried to start it, it wouldnt so i decided to check for spark agin, i had my buddy hold a extra known good plug on ground with the wire that goes to cyclender #1 to see if it would spark and it would not. but yes me and him did a continuity check on all the wires and they were good!!!
so that is as far as me and him got to, before we couldnt think of a way to get my car running.
ok, please any ideals, thanx in advanced!!!

how come you are using a 95 si harness, why not use your stock harness and add the plugs here and there to modify your stock harness to conform with the mini swap. look in the FAQ up on the top of screen. a lot of info there
