Not installing it yet, waiting to get some new spark plug wires. My oil cap just came in though! I can already imagine my engine bay!

Great build/restore!

I'm planning on doing pretty much the same on my $900 91 Si I picked up. It was also very well maintained by the same owner for most of its life.

One thing that astounds me about this car is how high it revs on the highway. Keeping up with traffic on I-95 that is going 80mph makes this car scream! And it's all stock intake/exhaust-wise...I can't imagine how annoying it would be otherwise.

Below is the link to my civic "build":

Yeah, I'm really on the fence. I have always wanted blades...now I have them and I'm not sure I want to keep them. Ugh...decisions

I was going to say that after seeing those pictures on tumblr with the water "beading" that you needed to wax our car, but it looks like you already took care of that. A couple other things,
1. Nice plate frame.
2. I think you might be able to salvage that rear bumper trim. I just bought this black trim dye, might see how that works. If not you can use SEM trim paint, with good prep work that should be money.
3. I would probably keep that blades compared to your other option but overall I would have kept the rims stock. IDK why but they just looked so good on there. It's not often that you see a 20y/o car that well taken care of. Those car the kind of cars that turn my head, even stock.
4. I have used a PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) guy a few times in the Pasadena area. Prices are GREAT, his works is GREAT. I am in no way related to the guy, just just saw after you waxed your car that it brings out the dents in the car. His name is Ivan 626.533.5090 IDK if it helps but tell him you found him through the Honda Tech Forum. I don't think that will really change any prices, but it won't hurt.

Great job, keep it up.

Good looking out and good info! So you own iloveoldskool.com? I want to order some stickers, but I was wondering if you would print it in reverse so I can stick it on the inside of the window? Let me know if that is possible with your printer.

Yeah, I have clay bared my car twice and waxed it. Dent removal is something I would love to do but I might wait it out and just do full body work when I decide to paint my hatch.

I have Duplicolor Trim paint in my room, just waiting til I'm out of school so I can do some small restoration projects.

Yeah, I feel blades are more rare than the Si wheels. I still have the stock steelies/hubcaps/and lugs so once I restore those caps I will rock them on occasion

I will probably rock them when I lower my car. Slammed stock looking cars ftw

The car is looking great. Do not paint your car man. Get the PDR done and it will blow your mind how great it will look. I had SEVERAL dents on my hatch and they are non existent now. The car is way more valuable to a collector with immaculate paint and body rather than bondo/filler and respray. After you get the PDR, get it polished and waxed by a REAL detail shop, and your paint reflection will look like liquid. No exaggeration. Cant wait for updates!
